Due to our expansion, we are looking for several people to fill different positions including mechanical engineer:

He will be responsible for the introduction of new chairs on the production line, optimize several processes and act as a contact person for technical discussions with our manufacturing suppliers.


  • Participate in the introduction of new products, processes and technologies in the production department
  • Minimize the impact of engineering changes
  • Support the production, engineering and quality team by optimizing new work methods and equipment in a Lean environment
  • Interact with the various participants and suppliers in order to adjust and refine the concepts and drawings during their operationalization
  • Organize and execute tests in the test lab
  • Perform geometric optimization and mechanical strength calculations
  • Participate in product development, product improvement and production qualification as an engineering member of multidisciplinary teams;
  • Act as a technical representative for product development projects with manufacturers.

This position may require occasional travel.


  • University degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in modeling (Solidworks)
  • Proficiency in dimensioning and geometric tolerancing
  • Experience with various manufacturing processes (machining, forming, extrusion, hydroforming, carbon fiber assembly)
  • Ability to perform finite element analysis (ANSYS and Solidworks) (an asset)
  • Good spatial vision
