LATERAL TRUNK/PELVIC SUPPORT

A wide range of thoracic trunk supports are available for back supports. These include fixed and swing away options and arm styles with single or dual pads in multiple sizes. Pads are adjustable in angle, length and position. All supports are available with optional neoprene covers.

3 TYPES OF HARDWARE

FIXED – Lateral remains fixed in place for users that require permanent support.
SWING AWAY – Lateral can be adjusted around the hinge to set proper contact point with client, in addition “swings away” on a pivot point to allow for easier transfers, or a break from support.
SWING AWAY EXTENDABLE (available with standard laterals only) – Lateral has significantly more adjustability to ensure proper lateral or anterior lateral contact with the client, in addition “swings away” on a pivot point to allow for easier transfer, or a break from support.

5 TYPES OF PADS

SMALL – When minimal surface area of support is required - pad is approximately 3.5” deep x 3.25” high (8.9 x 8.3 cm).
SMALL DUAL ADJUSTABLE (for use on the Swing Away Extendable hardware only) – Angle between pads can be adjusted to fit the contour and provide customized contact with the client - each pad is approximately 3.5” deep x 3.25” high (8.9 x 8.3 cm).
LARGE – When more surface area of support is required - pad is approximately 4” deep x 3. 5” high (10.2 x 8.9 cm).
CONTOUR – When the client needs subtle lateral support added toa mild contoured back (offered in two depths, single pad or double pad) - each pad is approximately 2” deep x 5.5” high (5.1 x14.0 cm).
XL (Armadillo only) – Maximum depth to ensure support clears the back substrate while providing increase surface area for contact with client - pad is approximately 6.5” deep x 7.5” high (16.5 x 19.1 cm).
