Rare Beauty Makeup

For anyone who wears makeup, we know that the packaging is not always accessible and easy to use for individuals with dexterity problems.

Although the packaging of this makeup brand owned by Selena Gomez was designed for her own personal preferences, the ball on the top of the tube-shaped components makes it easy to open and use for someone with limited hand function.

The brand has confirmed that they did not test the products to support these claims, but they are thrilled that people with dexterity issues find it more accessible, and they look forward to continuing to test and explore ease of use for everyone. The claim that it featured accessible packaging opened a discussion within the beauty industry about the importance of making packaging more accessible, and we hope brands will start making products with the disabled community in mind.
