Woody Belfort

Woody Belfort is a Canadian athlete, bodybuilder, and motivational speaker known for his remarkable achievements and inspiring journey.

Born with spastic diplegia, a form of cerebral palsy affecting muscle control and movement, he has used a wheelchair for most of his life.

From a young age, Woody was passionate about sports and physical activity, and up to today, he continues to have this passion. He began playing wheelchair basketball at only 8 years old and went on to represent Quebec in the 2019 Canada Games held in Red Deer, Alberta. His athletic pursuits expanded into bodybuilding, where he has made significant strides. Woody has competed in multiple International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB) Pro Wheelchair competitions, securing first place at the 2018 and 2022 Toronto Pro SuperShow events.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Woody is a vocal advocate for diversity and accessibility in fitness spaces. He emphasizes the importance of creating inclusive environments that accommodate individuals of all abilities and backgrounds. His efforts aim to empower others to challenge their limitations and pursue their passions, no matter what.
